That wasn't very inclusive

Whatever happened to the liberal view that everyone is welcome at the table?

Read this:
"Lord, in the memory of all the saints who from their labors rest, and in the joy of a new beginning, we ask you to help us work for that day when black will not be asked to get back, when brown can stick around -- (laughter) -- when yellow will be mellow -- (laughter) -- when the red man can get ahead, man -- (laughter) -- and when white will embrace what is right."

It sounds like someone is taking a swipe at white people for being evil.

Where's that quote come from? From the lips of Reverend Joseph Lowery, the prayer heard 'round the world at the conclusion of the swearing in ceremony of President Obama.

There's a video of it. Just as Lowery was making his jokes about the races the camera panned to Obama and he was enjoying it. After the Amens he embraced Rev. Lowery with hugs and smiles.

Here's the video: http://blog.beliefnet.com/stevenwaldman/2009/01/rev-lowery-inauguration-benedi.html

Could this signal the beginning of the administration of comeuppance?
