The thin man

I don't know about you, but I think Obama is losing weight. Maybe he's back on the fags.
Or it could be that he's being squeezed from both sides. After all, the wheels are coming off the Baucus bill because it isn't liberal enough.

And the GOP is rightly asking, "What Bill?" Seriously, can anyone tell me what bill the White House is backing? When he gave that stirring speech to congress on September 9th, what bill was he talking about? In hindsight, no one really knows. He talked about details that don't add up with any bill out there.
One thing's for sure, it isn't the GOP idea. (No, the "gang of six compromise" doesn't count as GOP input.) Obama has snubbed GOP leaders since April. He doesn't want to hear what they have in mind.

So....I'm thinking the thin Obama is a result of pressure from the left and the right. They both keep squeezing until something comes out of the White House. We need a little more than, "No, that's not it."
